The iCubate® platform is the lowest cost-per-reportable, fully automated, multiplex bloodstream infection diagnostic tool. Requiring only minutes of hands on time, the easy to use iCubate System provides rapid identification of the most common bloodstream pathogens and clinically relevant antibiotic resistance markers to help guide antimicrobial therapy. Offering a scalable, affordable platform, iCubate offers accurate testing for labs of any size.

iCubate® is in the early stages of launching the iCubate® Solution for Bloodstream Infection and is looking for exceptional people to join the dynamic team and share in the success.

 

Position Summary

iCubate® is seeking highly motivated individual to advance iCubate’s mission of bringing syndromic testing to all patients and build demand for the company’s products. The individual selected for this position will be critical to the company’s early commercial success and will directly influence product and corporate strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Build sales pipeline and close new accounts through clinical laboratory customer segmentation and targeting, lead generation, customer presentations and discussions

Create market awareness and demand with clinical microbiology and infectious diseases key opinion leaders (KOLs) through presentations at national and regional conferences

Discuss microbiology/infectious diseases concepts and hospital/lab sales processes with customers and colleagues

Develop effective evidence-based cases on the importance of using iCubate products

Interface with customer before, during and after sale

Be an active and vocal internal and external advocate for the company and the mission

Education and experience qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, scientific or related field  

Preferred: Advanced degree in business, scientific or related field

Required: Three (3) years experience in diagnostics sales, marketing or business development with demonstrated success in launching new products

Required: Two (2) years direct experience in microbiology with working knowledge of syndromic testing market and products

Required: Ability to travel regularly throughout the U.S. and on occasion, internationally

Required: Willingness to work flexible days and hours

Strong desire to not just sell but find solutions for customers

Confident and persuasive speaker to large audiences as well as an audience of one

Meticulous care for precision in record keeping and documentation, specifically through the company’s Customer Resource Management software system

Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

Able time manager

Aptitude to clearly communicate through written and oral means

Comfortable with evaluations by measurements and metrics and subsequent constructive criticism

At ease in any environment

Self-motivated, conscientious
